For the 2019-20 season we will have 6 squads playing in the North West Kent Senior League, as well as two U12 and two U14 junior squads that compete in the Rising Stars netball league. We also compete in the Kent County Junior League which is a high level competition for the top teams at U14 and U16 level in the county.
Trials take place to select players for these teams in June and September. Girls that are selected will represent the club and play on Saturdays at Bromley High School for the NWKL and the Rising Stars League. The Junior County League Squads play once a month on a Sunday at Rainham School for Girls.
Our senior and intermediate squads (Beacons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6) train on a Tuesday evening at either 6.15pm – 7.45pm or 7.30pm – 9.15pm, dependent on which team they have been selected for. Our Junior squads (U12’s & U14’s) and Back to Netball squad train on a Thursday evening from 6.15pm-7.45pm.
Training is an essential part of each players development not only as an individual but vital to ensure the team is working as a well-oiled machine. Girls are expected to be at training every week. If they are unable to attend they must inform their coach or team manager. All squad girls are required to own their own Beacons kit which is to be worn at all matches.
